Car insurance two different addresses

Hi all,
Really appreciate any perspectives on this one as I'm buying a new car and very new to everything motor related!
Before I buy a car I am pricing insurance, but I have a dilemna. Technically I am going to be living across two addresses for the foreseeable future. I will be living in Birmingham during the week but travelling back to Liverpool maybe 3 weekends every month.
When I have been looking for insurance quotes it has given me prices that are 100 to 200 pounds (pound sign broke sorry) more expensive for Birmingham than my Liverpool address.
Do you think it is ok to use the Liverpool address even though I won't be there most of the time? Would there be any repercussions to doing so?
Any thoughts appreciated!

Cheers for the responses! Yea I'll be in Birmingham 5 of 7 days most weeks. Whether permanent or not I can't say - at least 18 months I'd say.0
