CGT query re quitting HL

I am very belatedly planning to close one or more of my HL accounts due to the 0.45% fees. It's a bit late to be complaining to HL. (Feeble non-excuse: it's been a v busy year.)

I have several funds in my HL Fund & Share but I intend to increase my passiveness as an investor, so am planning to sell them all into cash and buy just a single fund like Vang LS 80% on Alliance Trust.

QUESTION: For CGT, is the relevant figure simply the Total at the bottom of the Gain/loss column on my HL account page? (This is a gain of about £9k, ie under my CGT allowance.) OR, if I do this as a transfer, is it not a capital gain at all? Many thanks.
