Hi, my mum is currently on the lower payment for attendance allowance, she was diagnosed with pulminary fibrosis and airways disease 4 months ago, would she be entitled to go on the higher payment?

i diagnosis makes no difference as AA is paid for care needs and not a condition.
have her care needs increased significantly?
does she need help during the night and during the day?
