HSBC - how long do they have to take a card transaction from your account?

If HSBC card is Visa, then you can request a charge back as the transaction is more than 180 days late. You do still owe the vendor the money though and they could take recovery action against you once the debt becomes outstanding.0

And could potentially add additional fees on it for the chargeback and other costs they may incur.
As others have said, there is a Visa rule on the delay of funds being taken but this doesnt change the law of limitations which means the vendor would have up to 6 years to recover the debt0 -
