PayPal withdraw to bank account taking 3 days?

Hi all
I'm a business seller on eBay and for the past two years, any PayPal withdrawal I've done gets to my b/a in seconds, everytime.
I've done a couple of withdrawals this morning and it actually says ''It usually takes 2-3 working days for transfers like this to be processed, so you should see the money in your bank account by 10 Sep 2014''
Eh? When did this start or am I missing something? The money has left my PayPal a/c but is in the ether as it's not in my b/a. Is this yet another change or have I done something different? I did a number of withdrawals at the beginning of the week and they got to my b/a in seconds, like normal. If someone could shed some light, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

I am a regular user of paypal, and sometimes they just do this, I think it's just security measures. it will got to three days for withdrawals for a short period of time, then after a while, transfers will revert back to immediate (well 2 hours as stated on the pp site)0

Also a business seller and occasionally get this. I think it joins a queue to be checked by someone before it is released. Never ever had this on my personal account though.0

I had this as well this morning, normally instant. When items were slower due to a check you used to get a message to state this.
Looks like they may have changed their system.0 -
funny, looks like it happened this time last year as well

Not instant for me atm0

yes I got this message too, its very annoying and inconvient....0

Ok thanks guys.
It is indeed very annoying but there's nothing that can be done therefore will just have to put up with it. Grrrr!!
The cynic in me thinks they say it's a 'security measure' yet they've done this with 1000s of other users from around world and making a killing on the interest in the interim despite being illegal. Almost impossible to prove though.
Anyhow, thanks again for the replies.0 -
Just a quick update as there is a workaround which solves this issue and gives instant transfer to your b/a (spotted this on another well-known deal site.)
Firstly, don't use the 'Withdraw' button.
Click on 'Pay Pal Balance >' - this is at the top of the page, left hand side, just below the blue strip (new-look PayPal site, not the Classic screen).
This gives you a very lo-tech screen and one of the options is 'transfer to your bank account'.
This will give you the instant transfer of funds.
I've just done this and can confirm it works for me so anyone else who reads this and needs to withdraw money from PayPal should do it this way. Hope it helps.0 -

This worked - looked more like the old screens, had a message to say your funds could take up to 2 hours, and by the time i logged into on-line banking they were there.0 -
I clicked on the withdraw funds button this morning, under the balance of the new look screen, and it says I can get the funds in 2 hours. Now I have a business account so maybe this is why it is different.0
