ok i am burning my first dvd with dvdflick i added 2 hours worth of video (2 videos) i am using below normal priority to burn it. Can i listen to music and surf the internet while burning or does that create skips?0

Ok i just finished using dvdflick it didn't even ask me to insert a DVD instead a created 2 folders on my computer an audio_ts and a video_ts and now am is supposed to burn it like a data disc using windows media player or something? It took a long time about 1 hour for 2 1 hour videos.0

Hey guys i do not have good news to report i downloaded a few programs, AVStoDVD, DVDflick, and ConvertXtoDVD (which wasn't freeware so i uninstalled it). The first two programs encoded and authored the dvd files (Video_ts, Audio_ts) but didn't continue to burn it to the disc. It left that up to me so I just burned the 2 folders as data using windows. Of course it plays on my laptop but since the point of all of this was to watch it on television my task has failed as neither disc is playable. It shows disc error on the TV. My question is this an issue of compatibility on my player or a software issue? I used all default settings and my dvd player plays other dvds I have burned in the past using programs I have long since forgotten the names of but these recent programs have produced discs that don't work.0

Strange, sounds like your video files are not being encoded to MPEG-2 format.
Some of DVD Flick instructions can be a little confusing but the key actions are as follows;
• Open Programme
• Drag file into DVD Flick
• Click on Project Settings
• Click on Video
• Select Target Format – PAL
• Click on Burning
• Select Burn Project to Disc
• Click on Accept at bottom of screen
• Set Project Destination Folder on main screen
• Insert blank DVD into recorder
• Select Create DVD
• Video will be converted and burnt in around 45 minutes
I don't use it that often but so far it has worked every time.0 -
