Banks that allow 2 joint current accounts?

We want to switch banks but would really like to be able to hold two joint current accounts, one for bill payments & one for spending money. Does anyone know whether most banks would offer this? Quite keen on the Co-op Bank, will call them tomorrow but thought I'd ask now on here!

Any particular reason why the accounts would need to be with the same bank? It's a good idea to have more than one current account at more than one financial institution (remember the Natwest/RBS/Ulster meltdown a couple of years ago?)0

The Santander 123 Current Account is quite nifty for this. £2 monthly fee but gives cashback on council tax, utility bill and communications payments.2005eyeball wrote: »...one for bill payments...Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

You'll probably find a shorter list by looking for a bank that doesnt allow this. Dont know any that wouldnt allow dual joint accounts0

Happy to stand corrected but i believe Santander only allow one joint 123 account but each person may have an additional one in their sole name.0 -

I don't think there would be any reason why you wouldn't be allowed as many bog standard current accounts as you wanted. Restrictions tend to be on special accounts like 123 accounts.DEBT FREE!

The OP only say they want the two accounts with the same bank not that the two accounts should be the same product. So they could have a joint 123 and a joint basic account with Santander0 -
