Skype Problems

Hi all - hope you can help?!

I'm going around in circles trying to figure out what's wrong with my skype service.

I had Skype installed for many years, with no problems, on my laptap and Kindle - all has been fine until this last week.

All of a sudden Skype wouldn't work on my Kindle so I uninstalled it and installed a 'new version' (having to enter a new password). It wasn't exactly straight forward but eventually got it up and running. However, it now seems that the new password isn't being recognised on my laptap - any ideas? I've emailed, as per their help page, to get an access code but no code has been received.

Also, I've just Skyped the USA from my Kindle and, even though I can be heard fine, I really struggled to hear the conversation. The connection was fine but the audio was rubbish.

I don't know, but it seems like the laptop and Kindle are not recognising each other since downloading the new version :-(
