    If I have read you right and you just want to change the background colour of the form, if you right click on the form in design view, you have a back colour option, and you can change that in there.

    Also worth building in a service element into your contract with your client to include troubleshooting, updating, etc. for an additional income stream!

    Forgot to say that right click in design view will give the 'color' option if you haven't already a non standard format in place!
