I'm looking for help/advice.
I'm planning a holiday next year to USA for myself, my wife and my in-laws. All of us have pre-existing medical conditions and I'm fully aware that I need to declare these. However what I'm not sure is whether I need to declare medical conditions that no longer exist - for example a stomach ulcer over 10 years ago, gall bladder and appendix removal over 5 years ago, a short episode of depression due to another medical condition over 10 years ago - should these be included if there have been no on-going treatment for these for such a long period of time?
I don't want go ‘over the top’ when declaring things and obviously I'm hoping that no-one is taken ill during our trip but I want to know that we have the correct cover by declaring everything I should just in-case.
Sorry if this seems a stupid question but I'd rather ask it now than face a 'void/invalid' insurance claim should someone need medical assistance just because I forgot to declare that some-one stubbed their toe 3 years ago.
Thanks :huh::undecided:huh::undecided:huh::undecided:huh::undecided:huh::undecided

It all depends on the wording of the question.
Answer it honestly.
"Have you ever suffered from ..." vs "In the last six years have you suffered from ..." can justify different, yet equally honest, answers.0 -
Most policies ask in the last 12 months.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
