Ordering Sky

We have just exchanged contracts on our new home and have a moving in date for the 12th (next Friday). Does anyone know what the earliest we can order Sky (Phone line, TV and Broadband).

We both need Broadband for our jobs so don't want to be waiting around for it.

I'd be ordering it as early as possible. It's a cert you won't get an install date for the next day and, even if they have an earlier slot available, you should still be able to book in advance for the 12th or later.

The only way to be sure is to ring them and ask...

yeah im in contact with them. Didn't know if had to wait for the current owners phone line to be turned off.

for anyone reading this in the future, Sky said you can order it but obviously only schedule install when you in.

Of course you need to be in for tv installation or they can't setup your box, which the engineer delivers.


Also, you need to be there check that they put the dish in an appropriate place.
