£100 from halifax wait, how long?

Switched to halifax last week and was given a completion date of today, as it's now close of business I thought I would have received the £100 signup today, just checked account and still nothing there yet.

I have moved money into the account to cover the minimum monthly pay in amount, I have also set up 2 DD from a Tesco savings account so hope to get the extra £5 per month also.

Couple years back, I went into the branch to set up the account and the money was in the account before I got out the door.

I have heard a few delayed stories lately, just hope customer service is falling apart...

it does tell you that the £100 incentive bonus will be paid between day 8 and day 10, mine appeared on day 8

Within 3 days of the completion of the switch.

Switch was completed on the 4th and the £100 incentive arrived in the account today :money:, I have now set up 2 direct debits to myself so should hopefully get the monthly £5 also.

Just signed Mrs Freelander up for a reward account to.


Is the £5 paid at the beginning of each month?

I got mine on the 9th day from switching, my friend got it on the 4th day.
