Last minute decision to go to uni, what do I need to do?

Hi,
I am currently in the assessment phase of ESA I claimed on the 7th July I believe. I have MS and gave up my studies in February 14, work in July 14.
As I was at work last September I didn't have to inform anyone about student finance but I am not 100% sure what to do now. I've applied for student finance a few days ago and enrolled at university. I start on Monday!
It's going to take 6-8 weeks to organise student finance... (So they say but they aren't very competent!) and my current sick note runs out on 30th September, although my GP will keep signing them for a while because of the symptoms I'm dealing with at the moment.
I've read online that I can still claim ESA as a student (although vastly reduced rates) if I am in the support group so will I cancel my ESA claim when I start or do I wait untill I have finance come through?
Sorry if these are silly questions, I've been 'googling' but with double vision it gives me a headache :rotfl:

Thanks SnooksNJ,
Changed courses and Uni's so fingers crossed with the support at this smaller uni I can get through the next three years relatively unscathed!0 -
