pay pal help again

looking for help
i bought a doll from holland and it never arrived i paid by pay pal and when it never arrived open a dispute against sellerl, pay pal refunded me the money waiting for 7 day for it to pend now today got a email from paypal saying seller has provided proof that parcel was delivered and signed for, which is not the case
the tracking number the seller provided says was for jodel which i take to be yodel but does not show up as a valid tracking number

what can i do now have no doll and pay pal wnting the sellers money back

  • did you fund the paypal purchase via a card ?

    edit - what do you mean paypal wanting sellers money back ? have you had a refund ?
  • yes they refunded me the money last week now a email saying this

    We have now received additional information showing that the item has been delivered to you. In accordance to our user agreement you may not receive a double recovery, this includes receiving a refund under PayPal Buyer Protection for an item you have actually received. Therefore we kindly ask you, in case you have received the item, to return it or to issue a new payment to the seller

    when i call ebay you go thro each stage with a machine and they say this case is now closed,
    yet i have paid and not received the doll.

    i paid some money from paypal and they took the rest from my bank account i have linked to paypal

  • as far as I know, paypal will not force a buyer to repay a seller after getting a refund. I think its just "asking" you to repay or return it, but hopefully someone else will confirm that.

    if its yodel, from my experience, it could be in bins/hedge, next door garden etc etc have you tryed talking to the seller, if it was me Id work with him in any courier claim he might need to do, not really his fault this "courier" seems to have misdelivered it.
  • yes checked every where and i stay in a cottage that stand alone so no neighbors to take in the parcel or anyone to steal it,

    i have been in contact with the seller right thro and she opened a case with the courier and this was the outcome that the parcel was signed for now she is calling me a lier saying i have stole the doll

    if i have money in my paypal would they take it out of it to pay her ?

    hardly a surprise given the level of mistrust between sellers/buyers ebay has created.

    again I dont think paypal will take money back once refunded, but I wish someone else would confirm that

    Have you seen the tracking signature ?

    edit - i stay in middle of nowhere, and that perticular couriers local "lifestyle courier" has left items at farms quite a distance away, in differant postcode :-( so I would not confine a search just to your own property :-(

    If Yodel are involved then I'd be directing everything at them. If you're in a remote location, my experience of them would suggest they've disposed of it somewhere.
    Try and get the tracking to something you can follow up, give them a call.
