Messing with feedback page

So we had the disappearing item descriptions under the feedback and the obscured user names but now no dates?! Why?! All the feedback over a year now just says more than 12 months ago! I used to find that useful if I was trying to remember a seller I had bought from in the past etc to look at feedback from around when the transaction was, not anymore I can't! Why did they need to remove the date honestly? Why don't they just go the whole hog and have random feedback comments with no link as to who left them or for what item it's for.

eBay state privacy & the same reason why you cannot see the bid history
  • I figured it would be a privacy thing however it is making feedback even more redundant to me. You used to be able to make your own judgement about peoples feedback, seeing people complain about slow delivery and seeing the date was around Christmas etc I would think the buyer was probably expecting miracles! Or seeing someone had left bad feedback for a seller but then seeing the buyer left bad feedback for loads of others.
  • I hate ebay so much.

I don't think there is a company on the planet that I hate so much, yet still use.

Ebay has now become my absolutely last place to buy anything. I have found that many of the trade sellers also have their own websites and things are often cheaper on their websites!
