4 to 5* All inclusive Family x Ideas

Hi,

Me and my wife are looking to go away next year school holidays and we are looking for some ideas as to where to take our 2 and 6 year olds.

We want preferably all inclusive resort with decent food and plenty for the children.

We have a budget and were looking around 2.5k mark.

If anyone can give any ideas on places and hotels etc?

We are open to most places such as Turkey,Cyprus,Majorca etc.
Beach and Pool is important

Thanks

Just be aware many 4 stars are really 3 stars
  • Yeah.Spent alot of time on tripavisor and we just cannot make a decision
  • Depending on your expectations regarding the hotel and 'decent food' £2.5k in the school holidays might not be easily achievable.

Which is most important - unlimited food and drinks, a very nice hotel, or proximity to the beach?

Sometimes the price gap between B&B/HB and AI is a lot more than what you would spend on lunches/drinks and ice-creams, sometimes it is not.

My daughter and son in law went to Majorca the first two weeks in August this year. They have a 3yr and 6yr old. With Thomson all inc in a nice hotel, close on £5k.

£2.5k won't get you 4* AI with a decent location and good food in the summer school holidays. Either up your budget or drop your expectations.
  • Only a 3* but I can recommend San Miguel Hotel in Puerto San Miguel Ibiza. Probably over your budget with First Choice but can be booked cheaper on booking.com with separate flights (I always wait until Easyjet release their flights in October) or rooms can be booked direct with hotel. I can PM you the e mail address if you are interested. Hotel is known as Club Hotel Cartago on booking.com or San Miguel Hotel on Thomson/Firstchoice.
  • have you considered a cruise? - some great offers on at the moments
  • Holiday Village Tenerife (a.k.a. Luabay Costa Los Gigantes)?

Booking direct with the hotel and buying a separate flight you can get some great deals, and that place has loads for the kids, and good food for AI.

I always go for hotels on tripadviser that have a 4.5 star rating , and lots of reviews.
