I applied and successfully got the grant.it says in the letter that of you are on a prepayment meter (we are) that the payment will be sent to us.
Does anyone know what this means? May be a cheque? I saw on the npower website it said it will be sent in post office vouchers? Does anyone have any experience in this? Thanks

With BG we get a letter with a bar code on it. You take your electric key & letter & some ID to post office & they load up the key. We just finished using ours up last week as I was a bit late going there to do it.0

With SSE it get added to the key when you next make a purchase. It's someone else's fault.0

Hi spartacusthe1st
Thanks for your post.
I can confirm that with a prepayment account, you'll receive a letter with a bar code on which you'll need to take to the Post Office to scan - they'll then upload the (currently) £140.00 onto the electricity key. I trust this answers your query.
Regards
Jess
