Hi,
I'm not sure if this is genuine, but I have just received this from microsoft.... Security info replacement. The account they say is being taken over rings no bells with me! They give me two options, 1. Click on link if I am using that account. 2. If not me click on another link to help me protect this account!
Does anybody else have this happen to them?
Thank you for any advice, before I click or ignore message.

If you don't recognise the account it is associated with then just delete it sounds like a phishing scam or a Trojan email that requires you to click the link before it can do any damage. So just delete and ignore it.[strike]Debt 1 £50.70[/strike]Paid:D

That you do not recognise the account that this email refers to is about as plain a hint you can get. Microsoft scams are 2-a-penny at present - especially the 'techie' from a "Microsoft approved agency" who phones to say that they believe/ Microsoft has told them, your PC has innumerable problems and is about to blow up the planet. Just delete the emails and take no action. Better yet copy and paste the senders name into your blocked senders list.Mέŕζìή≈Mągìì0

Every so often. Just tell them you're hanging up and you wish they'd do the same. From a rope.0 -
1. don't answer the phone (if you have callerid you will recognise the number; if not then if its important they will leave a message)
2. if you do answer the phone say you haven;t got a computer0 -
