Amazon & tomtom

I bought this tomtom
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002LZUD68
Not from Amazon themselves but the cheapest seller, it was £55.00 plus about £6.50 p&p.
It arrived today, no dock, no charger, nothing.
I thought I was buying all the bits needed & I'm sure that's what the ad said a couple of days ago when I bought it!
I've emailed the seller asking for the active dock.
It's over priced without it, can I return?
The receipt in the parcel says no active dock & the delivery note. But I'm pretty sure it wasn't mentioned prior to that.

I am on about my 8th Tom Tom, I've never had a charger with any of them, just a cable to use it in the car so it charges as you drive along. I have always had some sort of mount though, although I now use a heavy cushion thing on the dash rather than stick it on my window.
Regardless of all that as you bought from a business you can request a return and as long as you send it back in the same condition and at your own cost they are obliged to refund you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It has no mount or charger.
They have just sent me a screen shot of their part of the ad (when you click on buying it from them) where it does state it's without active dock.
But the full page ad before that, with loads of info about the item clearly says an active dock is included.
I went by the main ad.
Why should I loose out on p&p because amazon & it's sellers describe something 2 different ways?
That doesn't seem fair.
P&p has already been £6.50, if I have to pay return that's £13.00 I'm out of pocket.
If they sell without active dock, they shouldn't list under the ad that clearly includes it, surely?0 -
Why should they be out postage because you can't read?0

Because on the large ad, it says it IS included.0
-
And on the sellers ad, it says it isn't.
Amazon permit sale of second hand items on the same listings as new items. It's possible the second hand items may be missing parts. It's also possible it's why this one was cheaper than the others.
Be more careful next time, don't blame amazon and the seller for your error, rather than returning the item, spend the postage money buying the mount.0
