Can I get cat food and litter cheaper?

Male neutered cats seem to have problems when left on a dry diet. I know one of mine had terrible problems as he would not eat anything else. My other male who ate a mixed diet of wet and dried was ok.0

I feed mine Smilla & Animonda Carni when I'm using Zooplus & I can vouch for Golden grey litter too.
I do feed mine Burns dried & Butchers Classic wet - tbh I don't rate 99% of supermarket pet food & my cats health & condition improved massively when I made the switch from Go-Cat & Felix! Also spending alot less time & money on litter as a result - oh yes there smells are not as pungent.
Cheap litter & food - is not always cheapest in long run - read this forum for tips u don't have to spend LOTS to vastly improve the health & welbeing of your furbabies! Mine v rarely go to vets & have improved their teeth - it's worked out cheaper & less hassle 4 me - food lasts longer too - as no fillers!0 -
Yup, Zooplus here too.
You can not save on what you currently feeding but you can possibly save if you start buying better quality food/litter as it may look more expensive but you will need to feed less and save money that way.
Nothing to add to excellent posts above.
Tiger and GoCat - not very good food I am afraid and it is false economy.
Do nto compare the costs just by price per litre or per kg - see how long each one will last you. Something that may cost more per litre/kg may last you twice as long as the one that is cheap per litre/kg and there is your savings0 -
Not every cat will need feeding more of the cheaper food.
Mine has Whiskas for wet and Sainsburys for dry and she is happy with one pouch per day and one cat diner of biscuits per day.
She is also very healthy and even the Vet will comment on the shine and softness of her fur.
If it works for the OP's cat as it does mine no need to change it for something more expensive or try to make out she will need less of expensive food because in my case that is just not true.0
