Temporary Full Time Work and Housing Benefit (Plus JSA)

Hi,
Have been perusing the forums and using google but can't really find a scenario matching mine.
I've just been offered full-time employment for a 1 month period. I'm going to accept it as I want/need the work experience, just wanted clarification of what happens with regards to housing benefit.
I take it, it is suspended whilst I am working? Is it suspended from when I start work, or from when I am paid? (I am hoping for the latter or money will be a bit tight!)
I am currently claiming with my girlfriend who is a full-time student and we get the full amount due to me currently being on income based JSA.
Does JSA also stop from when I am paid or from when I start work?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Jake

Your claim will be recalculated based on your new wage - complete a change of circumstances form and provide an estimate of your wages and date commencing work and weekly hours worked.
When available provide wage slips.
When you cease work advise the Local Authority in writing and provide your last wage slip at a later date when available. Your wages will then be removed from the calculation.
Your claim will be recalculated from the following Monday after you start work even if you start work on a Monday (ie start work Monday 1st September claim will be recalculated from Monday 8th September).
JSA will cease from when you start work - speak to the DWP about this and what you need to do so you don't lose out. These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0 -
As your employment will only last 1 month you won't qualify for a 4 week run on if been on income based JSA for 26 weeks.
Your HB will end at the end of your benefit week although if you start work on a Monday you will be paid for the first week if your JSA ends on the previous Sunday.
Your JSA will end the day before you start employment and you will be paid accordingly what they owe you,if on JSA for 26 weeks without a break it would be beneficial if you could work for at least 5 weeks and you will receive 4 weeks extra HB/CTS whilst working.....
You may be entitled whilst working depending on your income.Forums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.0 -
