Is it possible to receive parcels through Heathrow?

Is it possible for someone who lives outside of the UK, who wants to order something from the UK to pick it up from Heathrow during a flight with a stop in London for like 4-5 hours.
Is there any service for like a very temporary mailbox for 1 day or so at the airport?

Hmm .... sounds like a good idea ... but will they do it for someone? I mean if you're not booking any room with them, so why would they help you?0 -

I have no idea, I was just thinking of options. I'd think one of the better hotels would more likely do it than somewhere like a Premier Inn. Talk to the Concierges desk and offer them a generous tip upon collection.
Then again, is it worth the risk of the item going missing? Probably easier just to pay for it to be delivered to their home or final destination.0 -
Given the high terror alert, I cannot believe any Heathrow hotel would do this.0

I think the best thing is to book a stop-over for a full night in London, then you get a chance to get the hotel to agree to get it for you (you have a room with them), and then next day you continue your flight with your package.
Sounds right?0 -
Surely just get it to a freight forwarder at the airport and collect from there. The futures bright the future is Ginger0

You ring DHL (Other providers are available!) and ask them to hold it at the centre. It may take more than a couple of hours to clear customs though - 5 hours isn't really enough time.0
