Different Flat numbers for the same addresses

I have lived in flats for the last couple years and the place where I live has different flat numbering systems. E.g. the Royal Mail uses different addresses than the Electoral Registration Officer. I am not sure why- but they do (and actually Scottish Power seem to use a third system- not sure that matters so much though)

I just signed up to check my credit rating with Noddle as they are free and it does seem to be an issue. e.g. one of my addresses is wrong, and also I am not showing up as being on the electoral register - I think because the address they use is different than the one that the Royal Mail use, and that I use for all of my banking.

I have written to them about it, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of dealing with this issue? Should I check with all the other credit rating agencies too?

Hi there, I had a similar experience to this in a previous address. The place had been called one thing by one set of owners, a new set of owners changed the name. They did not inform the electoral people. This meant a discrepancy between the two. In the end it was a case of informing the electoral people of the change. You can also get the credit agency to show you at each of the different addresses simultaneously so that you are showing as registered to vote etc. The electoral people should be able to verify the details Royal Mail have to make the change. You should be able to find their contact details on your local council website.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.
