Stupid residential parking

So we moved in may to a new build property we are renting. The residential park is basically a triangular shaped space.
At the far/ pointy end there is a single car port. When it widens out a bit there is a single space, when it widens out further there are two spaces side by side, there is then a gap and then 3 car ports along the base of the triangle and the entrance.
The above is all according to a badly drawn plan given to us on a piece of paper, there are no lines on the ground to show where the spaces outside of the car ports are.
Technically our space is the 2nd space of the 2 abreast area but with no lines on the ground and not knowing how big the other persons car is etc I spoke to our neighbour who has the other space thats up against the fence.
She said she only has 1 car and the car port at the pointy end is hers too so not to worry and use that space and if she has friends/ family etc they'll park in my space etc.
This worked well for a while. Now there is a new car that is almost constantly there, she says she doesnt know who's it is but if they are against the fence or they are parking in the 2nd spot they park exceptionally wide a good 3-4 foot from the fence or my car.
Now this doesnt really effect me but one of the chaps in the car ports behind us has some silly oversized pickup thing and cannot get in and out of his space when the two cars are there and wide. To date he's been "good" about it and if he cant get in he parks it out on the road.
My concern is that one time when he needs to get out in a hurry or miss judges if he can squeeze in or not then my car will get clipped or he'll come knocking on the door whilst I am out saying to the Mrs that we are blocking him in and my wife will have the awkward thing of either having to drive my car for the 2nd time ever (shes recently passed her test), giving him the keys to move it or saying sorry and get into an argument with him.
Would you leave a note for the other driver even if its not impacting you and its not your space hes in or just leave it for others to sort knowing that its fairly obvious whos damaged the car if one day there's random damage.
I did trying to contact the builders about putting down parking space lines but they ignored me.

I didn't want to read and run but imho it seems to hinge on this:The above is all according to a badly drawn plan given to us on a piece of paper, there are no lines on the ground to show where the spaces outside of the car ports are.
Can't you press them further? It might be less of an issue if it was, say, a square/rectangle yard but a triangle area seems a bit mad to not be lined out.0 -
The fact the car park is triangular is just the virtue of the plot they bought. It used to be a single detached property with a lot of ground (for a city centre house) and they made a small terrace run with equal length gardens resulting in the odd space.

A picture speaks a thousand words so above is a link to a reproduction of the plan. Space 1 is our official space, Space 2 is the spare space that our neighbour said we can use if its free. Space 3 is where the oversized pickup has to get in and out of and the red box is in reality where the second vehicle is due to the wide parking of the unknown ownered Audi
It is a pain that the spaces arent marked but the builders are ignoring everyone and arent fixing snags let alone doing something new that "wasnt planned" etc0 -

Ha absolutely - makes far more sense now. If it were me i'd be leaving a note on this persons car:Now there is a new car that is almost constantly there, she says she doesnt know who's it is but if they are against the fence or they are parking in the 2nd spot they park exceptionally wide a good 3-4 foot from the fence or my car.
And gettign them to park more considerably. Alternatively, couldn't you and the other residents swap car parking spots so the truck is on the edge? It's a bit of an odd one really.0 -
It it tarmac or concrete? Nothing stopping a group of you agreeing on where the spaces are yourselves and buying a can of white spray paint (you only need to spray the corners of the spaces), especially if no-one admits to it should anyone actually care.
I doubt the Audi driver realises they are parked so far out of the actual plot or are blocking in the truck driver. Maybe the truck driver should offer to swap spaces with them.0 -
So do you even know if the Audi is owned by a resident? If there is parking for every property then it should be easy enough to find out given that there can only be 3 properties that you don't already know about.
If it is, then I would request that they park in their allocated space according to the plan; if they're not then I'd suggest that they take their Audi elsewhere (as politely, or not, as you like).0 -
Park on it every day but now you ask I'm uncertain. I think the main area is tarmac and just under the car ports is concrete - their spaces are obv as there are pillars/ roof supports between.
It may be an idea to speak to the truck owner but he leaves a lot of stuff in the back of the pickup and not sure he'd want to lose having the roof of the car port. Cant say I saw what he did when he's had to park on the road. The other possible issue is his vehicle is even wider than mine so add the extra 3' of wide parking and it may start blocking those up the "pointy end" getting passed. Its already a bit tight for large vans as it is.0 -

No idea whos it is. All the spaces are being now used.
Our next door neighbour, as in the person that lives there are renting but they dont get the use of the space thats allocated to them as their landlord parks his car in "their" space as he works near by. They park their car on the road or a near by carpark.
Now on the basis the person who has the car port at the end of the pointy end is having their second space parked in all the time (and they own rather than rent) and arent bothered by it I suspect they may well know who's it is. Since the Audi started turning up no one else has ever parked in her second space either which again hints that she is telling her friends that were coming round every other weekend or so not to park there any more.
I did ask her in passing if she knew who's the Audi was and she said no but cannot see any reason why she'd be lying. Didnt get to ask why she didnt care about it using her space.0 -
Pop a copy of the map onto their screen. Marking your space and your neighbours space and asking them not to park there?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

The ovious solution is the person that lives there without the space because the landlord still uses it joins the little parking club to use the space.
What times is the Audi parking that might be a clue could be a mate of the landlord that is still using their space.0 -

That then causes a problem if the Audi then takes someone elses space.
At the moment there is no problem other than for the pickup driver and the owner of the space thats being used and neither of them are doing anything about it. Hence my question is as much as anything "should I do anything or just let the status quo continue given I am pretty much unaffected, just a small risk"0
