Alpharooms trying to get £312 AFTER the holiday

Please, could some one help me here.
I booked a holiday with Alpharooms for August for my family. Wife and girls aged 5 & 12. Today I got his email:
"Good Morning,
Regarding this booking at Complejo Calas de Mallorca from 13th until 20th August for 2 adults and 2 babies (0 months each one)as booked on our site, but we were advised by the hotel that you arrived with 2 children 7 and 12 years old.
The hotel is claiming for the payment of the 2 children, 392€/ £312.51."
I know for a fact that I entered the information in their website correctly.
Please, anyone have any guidance? I paid for this holiday by credit card and the card company advised me to cancel my card and get a new one.
Help anyone please?

What does the booking confirmation say about children/ infants?0

It all depends on the confirmation.
As they were both apparently inputted as 0 months it looks like at some point the page reset back to the initial setting0 -
