Fellow Shop Direct Claimants

Hi Folks!
I commenced a claim against Shop Direct in 2009. Because part of my claim was for a period before the FSA regulated them, the claim has now been split between Shop Direct and Aviva [which was the preferred Company that Shop direct sold the policies for]. The Shop Direct part is now with an adjudicator, who has said she will be in contact when she has made her decision [this was back in March] and I am assured that Aviva will be in touch for their portion of responsibility, but no news yet. I just wondered if there are others out there that have had to wait 5 years and still waiting for their claim to be appraised??
Kind regards

  • Have Aviva actually admitted any liability for the pre-regulation period?

On what basis did you complain in 2009 and why is your complaint only now in the hands of the Ombudsman?
