Ofgem; a load of incompetent idlers with their big fat snouts in the trough.
Never mind about allowing tele-sales again (who in the name of sanity would ever want to move TO Npower?), they should be looking seriously at removing the supplier licence of this rogue company.0 -
Why, for making a supplier improve their business practices?
For not making npower improve nearly enough. Their business practices for many, many customers are abysmal.
That they are allowed to seek new customers while not having sorted out the horrendous mess they have created for many, many existing customers is a mistake and a disgrace.
They also appear to be fiddling their complaint statistics.0 -

Agreed. NPower are quite simply an obnoxious company, on a par with pay-day lenders, credit reference agencies and insurance companies. Their customer "service" is nothing short of criminal. Ofgem are complicit in their crimes.0 -
Npower are in effect running a public service. Just like Councils, Hospitals etc if they can't deliver that service they should be put into special measures.
Suspend their licence, no more new customers and get a team in there to sort it out.0 -
the extra people india lolDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

This is really annoying, particularly the bit about taking on extra staff. I cant believe the bbc published that.
Ofgem is a complete joke. There is a facebook page called npower boycott which detailed how they were sending out incorrect bills simply to clear the backlog.0
