Help with credit file company refusing to alter report

Options
I was declared bankrupt nearly 2 years ago and have since been trying to clear up my credit file.

All of my debts have now been settled/satisfied with the exception of 1.

This was the particular company when it all happened that were awful to deal with, the staff were rude and even nasty at times ringing everyday when I was declared bankrupt and insisting they hadn't received any info etc. I reported then to my OR and they were able to sort them out thankfully.

I have been trying for over a year now to get them to mark my account as settled, I've wrote and sent copies of my bankruptcy release form etc, heard nothing back written another 2 times and finally wrote in saying I would report them if they didn't respond in 28 days. Not heard a thing and they haven't changed my credit file.

The question I need answering is where to go from here, can I report them and if so who do I report them to?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

With your final letter - who did you threaten to report them to?

This thread should provide the information you need Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy
and how to complain to the ICO. You can also complain to the FOS.
