M & S have refused to refund any PPI on my card going back to the 90's.

They deny that the cards were sold on the shop floor.

When i requested my money back all they did was send me back the agreement i signed.

I know lots of people who are having the same problem.

If this complaint dates back twenty years then you'd need a really robust and verifiable complaint in order to be successful. It sounds as if you made a "hearsay" complaint for which you could not provide any evidence.

In addition, the regulation of general insurance sales did not begin until Jan 2005 and so the sale of M&S storecards was not regulated during the period you are complaining about.

I had the same situation as you with M&S who rejected my PPI refund
so sent to FOS who took on my case and after 12 months M&S made
an offer to settle in full going back to 1992! What helped was i had
every statement going back to 1999.
