    its just moneysupermarket
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

He sold control of it some time ago, for quite a tidy profit. No problem with that, he built something very successful and has got his reward.
The whole site is now a business from which the investors expect a healthy return.

I know all that, but it's still his name that is splattered all over it, and he's still the 'editor'. So it's his reputation he needs to consider!

It wouldn't surprise me to see this issue hit the headlines next time there's an upsurge in switching debate in the press.

These e-mails are now pointless. Currently being told "Hurrah! You could save £170 a year!" due to comparison with standard rate in 6 months time ( I recon it is £40 against my current tariff ). £60 exit fee.
My projected 'savings' will increase to £300 as I near the end of my fixed tariff.

They are encouraging unnecessary switching - and suggesting that people will save, £110 in my case, but my CURRENT bills will not go down.

Due to the new pricing mechanism the original continuous monitoring concept is now flawed, and I will close my account - or mark their e-mails as spam in gmail.
To be true moneysaving they should change their model to e-mail me 49 days before a fixed contract ends with a recommendation, this would add real value and they would posibly get the switch via their site - at the moment they will get nothing so it does not even help their profit model.

    Well, well, well,...........................

Has Mr Lewis finally seen sense. One year after this thread started it seems the CEC may at last be producing accurate data.

Wonder if we'll get a public apology for all the poor folks who have been duped in the meantime?
