Money Moral Dilemma: I'm using my gym for free - should I own up?

I cancelled my gym membership in March because it was too expensive. But last month I tried to get in and I've now managed to use it several times for free. Should I keep schtum and keep using it? Or own up and start paying again?

No different to theft in my opinion. Incidentally, why would you even try to get in after you have cancelled your membership?0

I would check your bank account for the last several months if I were you - you may find your membership hasn't been cancelled after all, and you have still been paying.
Also, does your gym keep track of you coming in using electronic means? If so,you might find that you are reactivating your membership by using it, or they may work it out and backdate payment, or...0 -
In asking the question it seems that really, you know the answer...0

And next week, on Money Stealing Expert's Moral Dilemma;
"I supplied the Balaclava hats and the getaway car, but my friend won't share the loot equally. Can I use the small claims court, or should I just break his legs to learn him one?"
Pay your sub, or stop going. Oh, and maybe look up the definition of "moral".0 -
Pay or quit going.0

As most of these gym clubs are huge rip offs -carry on using it til someone twigs, if you have the bottle!!0

Wow, two weeks in a row the 'dilemma' has been about theft.
Think someone's watching us?0 -

Champagne, that's another rip-off, flat-screen tv's too. Fancy helping me swipe some? I've still got those Balaclavas!
Maybe if it was essential food, water, medicine, just maybe stealing it would be excusable. Gym membership is a luxury. If you don't want to pay, don't go. Maybe go for a run in the park, do press ups, even walk to the shops. Don't steal from the other members.
Off for lunch with Jimmy Carr. He's recommending a business acquaintance. Mind you, we're going to "find" a pubic hair in the pudding, so we don't have to pay the bill!
Why does this normally-excellent site choose such scummy posts to highlight as "moral" dilemmas?0 -
Just own up, or you'll be back here in a few months asking if the gym can force you to repay the money!0

I stopped using the cash point down the road as I realised I could reach an old ladies purse through the window on the way and could take her money.
She obviously wasn't using it or it wouldn't have been left there....
Is society that bad that theft has become a dilemma?Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.0
