  • Pan fry some chopped Onions and garlic with a little oil, once softened add chicken pieces, Pork escalope's or any white fish or salmon. Add relevant stock, bring to a simmer and transfer to an oven dish. Just before your protein is cooked through, remove from oven and stir in your herby cream cheese. Continue to oven cook for a further 10 minutes. Serve, with veg, or salad, or a lot of crusty bread. Delicious! :)

Watered down with a very small amount of milk to make a cheese sauce for fish pie?

Cook any pieces of fish you've got, flake or break it into the cheese sauce with some mixed veg, top with mash and bake.

Spread on toast and grill until topping turns melted and crispy brown?

    Chuck it in a omelette?

I add it to the pan when I start cooking the omelette - I tend to use cream cheese with black pepper and it tastes yummy.

I'd do omelette too. I mixed some of the pesto cream cheese from @sda into beaten egg and cooked that, was v nice!

I use garlic and herb cream cheese to make chicken (or quorn) and mushroom pies. Dice chicken and fry with chopped mushrooms (or put quorn, mushrooms and butter in a pan and heat) when cooked, mix in the cream cheese and use the mixture to fill mini pastry cases (like mince pies) and then top with pastry. Cook until golden.
  • Trim a few stalks of celery and put the cheese into the hollow bit and smooth down with a knife. Makes a nice healthy snack.

;) Felines are my favourite ;)

I'd add it to scrambled eggs. I usually use plain cream cheese and put the herbs in the egg, but herby cream cheese would be lovely.

Fill some large, mild chillies with it as a snack and grill or bake them, or use it on roast red peppers instead if that'd be too hot for you.
