just received my laptop back from repair and they put a sticker on it with codes handwritten. DH pulled it off and it as taken 2cm x 2cm patch of paint.

I have wrote them a letter because of the amount of times it has been repaired and it is only 7 months old. I have taken advice from consumer direct and tying to get Dixons to give me a replacement.

I have not mentioned the sticker incident because it happened today, do I ring them up or do i wait till they contact me about the above. I have kept the sticker and you can clearly see the paint on it.

I would tell them now, might make your case for a replacement stronger...

Thanks I have wrote them another letter sent recorded delivery,of course. I spoke to consumer direct who said if Dixons don't play ball, they are referring me to trading standards.

Dangerous, it must be all that coffee I am drinking you cheeky sod!
