Excel Parking - Crown Point Leeds

Hi guys
Just a quick one. I ran to Crown Point at the weekend and parked in a space that wasn't a designated parking space (stupid, I know, but I needed to lump a heavy TV to ASDA to return it and I had done it before and gotten away with it.
Anyway...came out to a parking ticket...
Excel Parking Services Limited issued and it was made out for "Car not parked in a designated bay", which it wasn't.
Just wondering whether they're a company who can be ignored, or whether we're talking about paying this and marking it up to stupidity on my part.
Cheers guys

The advice on this website for nearly two years now is, do not pay, do not ignore.
Have a read of the Sticky thread for NEWBIES at the top of the page on how you should proceed. Basically, if this is England or Wales and not a hire/lease car then wait for the NTK and then appeal.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I don't know but the advice is the same anyway. If you wait and they send a NTK, you appeal. If you wait and get nothing you continue to wait for another six years. So, keep everything until then.
There is a section in the NEWBIES thread about most of the PPCs and tailor made appeals to a lot of them.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Excel are certainly not a small company.
Wait for ntkNewbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -
Whilst waiting for the NTK complain to the manager at Asda. The PROPER Manager, not duty manager or customer service. Take the receipt & refund slip and the PCN (don't let them keep it, they can take a copy). Moan about having to make 2 trips, firstly to buy a TV which turned about to be faulty, secondly to return the faulty item, having to park close due to weight of TV and being punished with a fake PCN.
Also contact/complain Jones Lang LaSalle Ltd who manage Crown Point on behalf of Aviva Investors:

Hi guys
Right...I'm confused as to what I need to do next. Is it an appeal to Excel?
I have now received the NTK letter, issued on 15th October 2014 so just within the confines of the time between the windscreen ticket (30th August)
I'm a bit thick with this so it would be nice if someone can give me a pointer.0 -
The newbies thread has all the info you need.0

I attempted to use that but got lost0

If you find reading other posts and the NEWBIES thread a bit confusing, go to the Parking Tickets Appeal Service web site and for a small fee, they will guarantee to deal with it for no cost to you other than their fee.

Don't be ridiculous - you can't copy and paste a template appeal?! Or is English not your first language or something? Please stop asking posters here to hand-hold you through something already covered in the newbies thread with an appeal already written. I wrote it despite my dislike of templates, purely because people can't write letters these days.CloudStrife7 wrote: »I attempted to use that but got lost
Or pay PTAS to do it, if you, or a friend who can be arsed to read the Newbies thread, can't manage this simple copy & paste x 2 stage appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
