Plastic Cast Iron Style Guttering

I am looking to install cast iron style gutter, I have seen two types - Brett Martin and Floplast.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which is better?

Not a direct reply and apologies for that. The majority of plastic guttering - Polypipe, Flowplast etc. I regard as adequate and suitable for contract use. It is fit for purpose, but I question the design life.

I specify Osma - the parts are still available for guttering made a generation ago and much of that era is still performing well.

It amuses me that neighbours have replaced their Osma (when there was nothing wrong with it) with modern items that will probably fail in five years time.

I've used the Brett Martin cast iron style guttering and it was pretty good. It looks the part ,fits together nicely.Obviously if you stood next to a downpipe and tapped it you would know its not cast but loooks wise its very good.

I use the company below, not sure if they are the cheapest around but I've always had good service..I can't comment on floplast as I've never used it.

Thanks for the replies.

I have heard similar comments from other leveller2911. Taking that into account and from my own research I think I am going to give Brett Martin Cast Iron Style Guttering a try, as others suggest Floplast isn't as good quality.

I will let you know how I get on.

Got some Brett Martin "Cascade" cast iron effect guttering from drainage store and its great quality. I'm really pleased with the effect.
