Its not something I arranged, all the parents of year 6 paid £20 for limo hire, food and spending money, there are two limos coming a pink one for girls and white one for the boys as a leaving sort of "do"
Middle daughter is barmy about cars we are trying to hire her a smart car for her birthday in November when she is 7 - she wants one when she grows up she says two seats one for her one for her dog is just want she wants!0 -
How exciting.

My DD is leaving school on Friday to go to big school too. There is a 3 tier school system here so she is leaving lower school and going to middle school. I feel so sad that she is moving on. The lower school is fantastic and I am going to miss taking her each morning and having a chat to the other mums. She is excited about moving on, but I am dreading the Leaver's Assembly on Friday. I just know I'm going to cry.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.

At last someone who understands!
I am getting so much grief if I talk about it that I am not wanting her to grow up, it really is not that.
Now I take her to school, I pick her up she is in our village so I can see how she is getting on, I can speak with teachers. When she goes to secondary school she will be getting on the bus and coming home via bus and it seems that school is becoming more of her business and less of mine.
We had there award ceremonies last week, she got a few good awards and was presented with her leaving present. I am very proud of her she did well in her SATS but I don't look forward to September. I am not passing my thoughts onto her she is OK about it all.
So hugs to you!0 -

I've just had a huge slice of bread pudding for my lunch - absolutely delicious, if not the healthiest option. Haven't seen it around for years (my mum used to make the best) but I saw it in the baker's shop, in town today.
At 48 pence it was a good value lunch, and very filling.
CS - sorry to hear that you're not feeling too good. :grouphug:
I'll just have a Quick cup of tea, and leave you to get better.:beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
