(Frugal) Afternoon tea 18th July.

It is Wednesday afternoon and it's time for afternoon tea. Please pop in and share your news. Come and have a chat to friends old and new.
I'm afraid I don't have many goodies this week, just a 5 day old Madiera cake which would probably be better with custard than on it's own.
I have got my son staying with me because I haven't been very well and he is "looking after me". He is eating me out of house and home! It's lovely to have him around, but I can't believe how much he eats. He's as skinny as a rake too.
So when you pop in for afternoon tea, feel free to bring some biscuits. :D
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Fantastic! I love birthday cake. It was my DD's birthday yesterday and we went out for tea. It was so late when we got home that she decided to save her birthday cake until she gets in from school today. I have been looking at it all day and fancying a piece.
I feel fine thanks. I have had some tablets from the doctor which are making me feel much better.

Ours was from the party sunday, tomorrow its my eldest daughters birthday 11 - eek last week at primary school and Friday is my youngest daughters birthday 2!

Which reminds me I should be baking but think I may do it with my middle daughter who will be a bit down today - eldest daughter is being picked up from school in a limo and taking out for a meal.

I can offer some Dairy Milk chocky, dont all rush at it at once!!!

Lately I`ve been finding it hard to swallow chocolate without having to wash it down with a drink.I get a burning sensatation(sp)down my throat too.

I hope I`m not getting some sort of lergy towards chocky?

Anyone else like this with chocky?
