You can claim back as far as the 1990's as long as you have some proof of ppi, an account number for the loans, and verifiable reasons for being mis-sold.

Do you still bank with Lloyds as there might be some evidence of these loans on your current account statements? I would contact LLoyds and query the SAR, they have 40 calendar days to respond.
  • thanks sun , i will be calling lloyds in the morning regarding the SAR as it is well over 60 days since it was sent recorded

    Hi sandrotaylor,

Were you able to call this morning? If so, did you receive an update on your Data Subject Access Request?

    Thanks,

  • In my experience Lloyds don't have any records of loans made before about 1994 - or if they do, their PPI people don't seem to be able to access them. I currently have 2 claims escalated to the Ombudsman because Lloyds kept on thinking they were completely different loans to the ones I was complaining about.
