Pale Moon question

I use Chrome, but decided to try Pale Moon earlier today. The installation went perfect and I imported all favorites/bookmarks across.
Via PM, I went though each of them to see how they loaded and as I did, the respective icons launched themselves. As I entered those sites that require me to log in, despite being logged in in chrome, I needed to enter user name & password, ok so far.
One forum resisted. Each time I clicked on Log in, the page refreshed itself. Going back to the same forum on chrome, I established I'd used the correct names and made a post along the lines that pale moon wouldn't let me in. The result was that a couple of members using their pale moon account, didn't have a problem logging in/out.
The response when I try is:-
Oops, there was an error!
Your login session key was invalid.-
So, has anyone anything to offer, apart from don't bother with Pale Moon?

If you are already logged in with chrome its possible you cannot log in with a second browser at the same time. Try logging out of chrome then try pale moon again.0

Er.... Pale Moon is based on Firefox. Bookmarks are normally uncrypted too, so easy to import. Unfortunately it is not updated as regular as normal firefox.
If you want a very decent privacy browser that seem the kill a good about of popups https://www.epicbrowser.com/
and if you select the red link thing on the address bar to the left of the star, it will turn green and will give you free vpn surfing access too. Not as good as Tor, but stops your isp snooping0 -
Never had an ounce of trouble from PaleMoon. I certainly haven't had any login problems.
Suggest the same as 'Norman Castle', log out of chrome and delete any cookies from the offending site and try again.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

to be honest Pale Moon worked for me very well too. The problem at the time and possibly now?, was run by a small team who were 3 or so security versions behind a firefoxes security update, and I could not tell if they had given up, or lost interest, or were just slow.0

FF has updated it's UI more than given security updates of late. Many not liking the new look are moving to PaleMoon, Waterfox, etc.
There are no security issues with PM at the moment AFAIK.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

From what I read recently, Pale Moon is branching away from Firefox now, with it's own direction and development.
With Firefox going to be showing ads soon, apparently, Pale Moon looks like a good alternative for people leaving FF but still want the add-ons.0 -
Thanks for that suggestion, ie log out of forum before trying it on PM.Will do it on my return from home. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
