No Payment

I wonder if anyone has any ideas about this. I'll be brief. Son awarded PIP last year. Payments stopped after he went into hospital. I called after his discharge to get payments reinstated. Heard nothing for 10 weeks. Called again and was told that it was showing up as having been dealt with but computer showed "payments not generated".
Waiting for a call back within 5 days but wondered if anyone would have any idea what this might be about.

As we don't work for the DWP, we can only guess. Its likely that due to the reinstatement it may be bogged down in the massive backlog (there's around a year waiting for new claims at the moment), but will be dealt with.
Just sit tight and wait for the call.0 -
Thanks for your reply. I just wondered if anyone had any previous experience of this while we wait for their phone call.0
