Attendance Allowance and carer's allowance

If someone is claiming AA because they require 24 hour care, and that care is divided between 4 different people, is there anything in the legislation to prevent 4 different people each claiming Carers Allowance?

If the person being cared for requires 24 hour care then the local authority adult services need to come and do an assessment so that a care package can be arranged.0
