Should I make a fresh HB claim?

I have another thread running were I explain how I failed to update my circumstance and how HB were cancelled.

I am still waiting for them to get back to us with an overpayment plan or whatever.

Should I apply to a new claim if we are still entitled? Or will this just mess things up even more?

Anyone with similar experience?

If you are legitimately entitled to some HB - then yes - you should make a fresh claim.
It should not complicate the existing appeal - though in some circumstances you may not be paid if you have a large overpayment.

Exactly that. Apply if you feel you have an entitlement.

Any overpayment will be recovered from your ongoing entitlement
