Can't remember name of IFA

Hello, I've just had a meeting with an IFA. I told him of my reservations in using an IFA due to having lost a substantial amount about 15 years ago. After telling him about it, he thought I may have a claim but I have no paperwork and can't even remember the guy's name (he was a one-man company and came to my house)
Is there any website where I may find a list of local IFAs in Edinburgh as I feel I would remember his name if I saw it. I've tried Googling it but only comes up with limited names. Tried Yell.com and same thing

You could try unbiased.co.uk and do a postcode search. That will show you all currently registered advisers within a radius of that postcode.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Tried that but unfortunately couldn't see his name. Good chance he's not an IFA any more. I keep thinking I'm going to remember as it's constantly on the tip of my tongue!0
