Sorry to hear that, if that happens to us I'm walking away from it all and getting back to enjoying life for at least 12 months before I consider this rubbish again..0 -
Exactly in the same predicament here. Mortgage valuation came in at £15k under agreed price. Had our own structural survey done which valued it at £10k under. Have gone back to the EA with this info and awaiting a response. If they can find some comparable sales within the last 6 months then we can appeal mortgage valuation. £10-15k is going to be a hard pill to swallow for the seller. Not getting my hopes up!!0

You mean they think they wear.....
I've got to the stage of if it happens great, if not oh well.0 -
Well what a day!! Unfortunately for us we have had to stump up a larger deposit than originally agreed with Nationwide, but the good news is we are back on track!
State of play
- Sold current property to original buyers for 175k (down from 180k)
- Purchased property for 245k (down from 247k)
Deposit has risen from roughly 3k to 15k due to NW lowering the amount they are willing to lend us.
Anyway good luck to all going through this atm!0 -
