These look a decent buy now that the rear end has dropped out of them, price-wise.
61-plate for under 10K, with leather, satnav and Bose on the Tech spec?
Haven't bought one, just looking at the mo. Thoughts?

Great way of getting yourself an Audi A4 (older model) on the cheap.
Always surprised that more of these aren't seen on the roads, Seat never seem to have marketed them that heavily. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I've heard good things about the Seat Exeo, spacious too.0

As mentioned the Exeo is essentially a slightly restyled and rebadged Audi A4 (old B7 range) so has a pretty good reputation.0

Sounds good. It's just an Audi with a Seat badge on it.0

Had one as a hire car once, very impressed with it, drove just like a VW/Audi.
"Spacious" isnt a word I would use however, I'm 6"1 and there was no way someone with legs could have sat behind my drivers seat... a lot more passenger room in the back in my civic. This was an estate, not sure if that makes much difference to rear passenger legroom0 -
I think the only things that held the Exeo back was the for a while there was no Auto, at least on the diesels as i looked into them as they looked good value new, and saloons in the UK are poor sellers unless in the Premium segment.
But value for money they are spot on.
I believe they do an Auto now.0 -
Are they actually any bigger than an Octavia estate? I appreciate different platforms for the two cars."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0

I don't know about the hatches but the Exeo estate was smaller than the Octavia estate, perhaps they're closer on paper but in practice the Exeo's longitudinal engine mounting reduces the interior space and the rear bench (at least in the Sport Tech models) didn't fold forward which meant the rear seats sat at an angle when folded forwards rather than sitting flat.
They seem a very good buy for the money as depreciation on them is horrendous and the Sport Tech comes with a lot of toys as standard, I came very close to buying one but a few issues put me off such as the seats not folding flat, one of the main reasons I have an estate is for carrying bikes which really needs a flat load area.

As mentioned already, I would agree that there is more passenger space in the Octavia than the Seat...0 -
I'd look at VW Passats, especially the estates0
