Aww that's cute she is so puppyish. My youngest dog is about 5 or 6 (not sure) and he is a right clown!! :rotfl:

My two dogs get really tired after we have had visitors aswell.

Oh tweets look at her little face bless her? I have a real soft spot for the older dogs? I hope she gets the offer of a lovely home when she is well enough.
Well done for visiting & fundraising for them. I hope someone local will sort them out some skips. xxx

Poppy when she in idiot mode theres no stopping her she runs around house with Kong in her mouth and I stay still otherwise would be on the floor :rotfl::rotfl:

I didn't visit :o I copied and pasted from my Facebook :o I have donated money though.

Don't think I could visit it would upset me and I would want to bring them all home :(

Have you tried diatomaceous earth or neem Jumblejack?

I do know the mites you mean as I have carried rescued ex battery hens with them and they are really tiny aren't they? :(

Horrible feeling when you feel itchy like that x

TM, I had lots of little tiny flies hatch out in my house once and it was because of some house plant soil that I had used to re pot some of my indoor plants. There were so many of them and they were tiny like fruit flies.

Yep. Diatomaceous earth (25 kilos) was scattered around all the woodchipped area, footpaths etc after we dumped the coop (£300 this January!).

My bedroom floor is now covered in the stuff and I am going to do the front room/hallway too.

Only thing is, the first 2 times I used it large scale, I didn't use a mask.

Now my chest is bothering me do I'm stressing about silicosis after googling it.

1 litre if neem oil is on its way along with 5 litres of 99.9% isopropyl alcohol.

I am steaming using cedar oil emulsified with a squirt of dish soap in the water.

I absolutely physically cannot do any more.

I would never NEVER have had them again if I anticipated this happening.

We are throwing out the fairly new rug in the living room as it is a deep pile one and massive.

The only other carpet is stairs and landing so they are gonna be diatomed too.

It's staying down. No visitors allowed til I get this thing sorted.

I have an obsessive personality and this is freakimg me out beyond anything.

I saw the episode on infestation series on netflix concerning bird mite and it ain't looking good if I can't nail it on the first few days.

    TM,

I feel your pain. I honestly do!

We had to get rid of the chickens 2 weeks ago due to a red mite infestation.

I was having to jump in the bath after every time I cleaned them out and collected the eggs.

    I have lost £100s & £100s this time with them :,(

I am despairing as I feel that some dropped off me on the mad psycho dashes to the bedroom every day.

My anxiety levels are through the ceiling.

I couldn't go mums today as I found one one so it's another steaming fest everywhere.

I feel so dirty (despite bathing and washing my hair TWICE a day and none stop cleaning!!!! :eek)

You have now got me very worried, Mr TS is looking after some friend's chickens this week and I remembered him saying they had a red mite infestation before they went.

I had no idea what that meant and did not know they were a problem for humans, I will be fumigating him after he has been tomorrow.

Just questioned him and apparently they still have the original hens but have dismantled the wooden hen house and made a plastic type hen house probably from a vegetable oil IBC. (One of the benefits living near Lush factory and knowing people who work there, oh and free soap. ;))

On the upside, I got a winning box of £10 coupon from the pizza box.

    28 days for delivery apparently.

It doesn't make up for not being able to see mum though because of the M word :,(
