The Kelpies are big horse sculptures in a park in Falkirk, central Scotland.

Never seen them myself, but my kids did this summer when they spent a week with the wrinklies (my parents) in Falkirk.

I've just looked it up, Falkirk is about 40 mins on the train from Edinburgh - this is giving me ideas.
I was thinking about Edinburgh last week - plenty of meal offers but it was the activities that were holding me back from booking as we have done most if the tourist things

I think I'll just go and sulk:(:( and give up APG altogether:(. (Don't worry - I'm just in the heat of it all.)

Shampoo/conditioner glitch hasn't worked on my shop. At least not fully, and I doubt it'll work at all by the late time I get to enter my receipt:(. Went for them as I worked out/finally clicked they should be 'better than free'. As usual, a total mess-up by me that sees me paying for them and paying more.

Store had the 400ml HEs on SEL on £2 r'back. Fine - should have been simple enough: buy an odd number and, for the final one get charged £3.79, and £2 GC. However, didn't have enough money for the excess, too hard and not faffing around with that so late at night with CS shut.

One of my shampoos went through at £2 price:(. Obviously, part way through a price change as two HEs beforehand, and the one after, went through at £3.79. Of course I wanted to cancel the £2 one and replace with another, tried to find the one which one had gone through at £2 (I know, I should have a photographic memory but sadly not:(). All done, and went off to get another different new one... and :(scanned at £2 again. Couldn't make an excuse this time. Didn't actually get a trouting as APGs accepted but feel there is a sort of one in the background as SA looked very closely at my receipts:eek:. I'm not happy and couldn't find heart to bother with looking for more wombles (I know, me, not emotionless at all:rotfl::rotfl:).

Even though £3.79 and £2 on one, till still deducted the right difference on all of them (mbuy savings reduced accordingly:(), ended up, after 'savings', at £2 each but with one on receipt going through at straight £2:(.

In case it helps, the beggar that went through at £2 was the Bee Strong Shampoo (I wanted that flavour more as well:() and the Dazzling Shine Shampoo also came up £2.

Mr "I've been on the cider so my word is law and that's that" misery guts is giving it conspiracy theory...because there's some dude who's just flown over the house on his way to Newport he reckons that they've taken social networking down to stop terrorists tracking the flights :rotfl:
