Fresh from the disappointment of not getting the !!!!!! misery wine and not getting a disappointment code - I think I might be more upset about the latter I then got a phone call.

I very carefully wrote the ladies name down, no idea why but it turned out to be a lady from Budgens to say I've won a case of wine :T

She was very amused with my story about my failed attempt to get my !!!!!! wine order

so later in the week it will be delivered to the store for us to collect and she will send me an email. Its a bit of a drive out - about half way to Chester from here but I think I am going to make it a magically mystery tour as I've found a nice meal deal at a restaurant close by so I can surprise OH :T

so that's my three nice things in one morning :D

    :j:j:j Well done mhoc :T:T:T

    Hey logie :)
Nice to see you posting and hope you are well x

I'm not bad thanks ILTS :)
I just never have enough time now I'm back working full time. Miss being able to check the thread. It was my little escape and area to vent.
Our mortgage fixed term has ended so hoping to be able to reduce my hours before too long.... Can't keep going like this for much longer or something is going to give
Shopping bills lately have got  It's actually part of my argument for reducing my hours..... The extra money I make at work is being spent as I don't have time to shop properly ;)
    How are you?

  • Readng back, I had to laugh at everyone's silly texts, my OH sent me a txt recently messing around that just said "You are a freak!"
It was a few days later that he realised he had accidentally sent it to someone he used to work with. How embarrasing. And they never replied. :rotfl:

Do you ever say something so embarassing in real life that you just want the ground to open up?
I was trying to get a trolley at Mr Ts, but the guy who collects the trolleys from the car park is approaching the trolley bay to park a long row of trolleys he is pushing.
So I am rushing to get a trolley to get out of the way, and I stupidly put my trolley coin in the second trolley in the row. Then I can't get the trolley coin out again because of my stupid fingers.
So I shout to the guy, "Sorry I've put it the the wrong hole and I can't get it back out again."
Then I realise that sounds a bit wrong lol. :o :rotfl:

    :rotfl:

Probably my most regretted one is a text/rl mix.
I was living with 3 girls at uni. One of them was being catty to a prospective bf of another so I wanted to warn her but I accidently sent the text to the catty one. I was in the room next to her at the time and noticed just after I pressed send and I was so shocked I shouted her name out really loudly. She never mentioned it but was a bit more careful about what she said after that. :rotfl:

Sent to you in the last 2 years £7.50

I really need to rectify this asap!
