Useless SELs:mad: or, rather, useless lack of any SEL at all:(. All the crucial items I needed to check lacking SELs - I think they know when I'm coming and remove them quickly so I can't tell:rotfl::rotfl:.
I had the idea, earlier this morning, of going to my "main" M store - supposedly the biggest of my stores. Careful though as that was the one I got "requested to leave" from last year. Since then I've been largely exiled to my "reserve" store which supposedly isn't as large (I say that as it sometimes has additional items over and above what the 'bigger' store has), this being the second biggest of my three nearby stores, and then doing a very quick go through the main store later for a few additional items they have. This has become more of a problem this week as there's one particular area of products that seems to be lacking in the reserve store - large store has more (in theory) but one man who works there knows when I am in and, yes, he's mainly in that area. So I had to go very carefully;).
Main store is closer to where I used to work, but reserve store is closer to my home, so makes sense normally to use reserve. However, once I was at main store, I was closer to Mr A, so may as well go there I thought and I got more wombles than I was expecting this time of day:D:D.
And then...well, my route from A to home passes two other Morries anyway, so may as well pop in, firstly to my third store, which is, supposedly again, the smallest of the three.
Turned out the "smallest of the three" had everything I had had no SEL for - and had a wider range in the area that the reserve store lacks - smallest store even wider on that than the main store:rotfl:. Anyway, I'm waffling and you, and I, know it!:rotfl::rotfl:
So, managed to get one item from the main store in that area and the one they were missing was in the 'smallest' store, whilst that smallest store didn't have the one item that the main one did:D! I'm not bothering with the reserve store today, just to see if the Savers Cloths still have 36p. That's the only one I am now outstanding - I have 20 pack at 72p in both the main and the smallest store and no SEL for OOS 10 pack. Anyway, it gives no guide as to what the APG might or might not do, depends what they have in their stores, so I'm not bothering with the "check of at least something in three stores" approach. So, the M list is based on the main store and the really small store this time (that manages to have a much wider range and more SELs:rotfl:).
But, all these differences in pricing and stock between the two stores:(:rotfl::rotfl:.
I've concluded the only changes are a wine going up from £3.49 to £3.99 and another increase on the Paracetamol Tablets - now to 23p:eek:. The Caplets remain at that price, but they didn't compare over the weekend (went N/A) on the APG. "Smallest" store had no Paracetamol Tablets:rotfl::laugh:. (By which I mean no Tablets and no SEL in that store.)
I had the Wagon Wheels Jammie version going up to full price in the 'main' store but with Original and Caramel on half price. However, the Jammie version (and the Original) are clearly half price and offer ends mid-month in the 'small' store. So, I'm not bothering with third store - it's clearly simply a SEL error in the main store - and they are on half price. Careful about the Caramel version - not only is that not on msm (which doesn't matter anyway) but I have two out of three stores that have only the Jammie and the Original. (Judging by what was in the 'reserve' on Monday.)
Anyway - I need not continue my quest for the Oven Bottom Muffins (I suspect they would be absent again in the 'reserve' store that I didn't visit today, they were absent in the main store on Monday and today) but I found them in the 'smallest' store today:rotfl:.
Short of it is there's no change apart from the Paracetamol tablets and a couple of wines (one going up to £3.99, a second wine now having a bit of a price difference of 4p between two stores:rotfl:). Just see the difficulties I'm having working out what prices some things are sometimes.
I ought to mention that the Hartley's Ready to Eat jelly pots are now on 25p in M (I think they were on Monday, but I'm catching up with them), including the "1 Portion" ones. Ambrosia pots also at 25p. Individual small ones obviously. Also Homepride pasta bakes (500g) are at 79p and Homepride pastas (non-bakes), again 500g, at 84p. So, I might be adding a few of them on.
No 12.5Kg Unwashed Potatoes:eek: in what is supposed to be the main store. They seem to have fewer range of potatoes in there sometimes anyway. They were there on Monday in that store, but not today. However, I found them instead today in the 'smallest' store:rotfl:.
"Smallest" store, here, btw, is not an M Local. M Locals have different pricing and are not used by the APG (or by T PP), so I wasn't bothering with those!:cool:0 -

I'd popped one of my nobbles of ginger in with the peppers as I couldn't find the ginger bag. Didn't spot it in my bleary eyed state this morning
Oops! :eek:0 -

I most certainly did but very luckily still here to tell the tale. I was half in and half out of the opening on the loft ladder which moved slightly and I fell back off it and landed on the balcony by the bedroom doors. If I'd have gone to the right it would only have been a 3ft fall but noooo I fell to the left and landed at the bottom of the stairs. Not much space there either so I must have fallen in a u shape. I was so lucky. Could easily have been killed, broken bones etc . I had a sore coxxyx for a while and a massive bruise on my arm.

Ouchie  sounds like it could have been so nasty
It always worries me clambering in and out of the loft, which is why I never let me kids go up there despite them always asking :mad:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
