There has been a lot of chatter about the APG in Tesco Trial Stores and I wanted to put my input into it.
Today, I went into a store and had used a few last weekend and the duty manager come over to me and I would say a little negative about the use of these and said he was not happy about me doing £10 per transaction and called customer service and they told him to check the receipt to make sure its all in order and that if he wanted to make me leave the store each time and then come back in. Before this they used to allow as many as you want but you had to do £10 a time. I adhere to the rules of each store that I visit. After so many transactions and me having to walk out and come back to my full trolley to do the next one he asked me about why each of my vouchers was a couple of minutes apart. (but at this time he was talking about my pervious vouchers the ones I used the weekend before.)
He asked me to explain it to him. So we had a chat for 15 minutes about how it works and I showed him that the toothbrushes are a £1 in Tesco and £4 in Asda and I explained that Tesco HO has said to me before this time that they are fine with me using the voucher in Asda and then In Tesco.
We had a natter and he told me what a stupid promotion this was and how they have had many fake voucher and after me saying I doubt they are fake but people doing the same as me. The stores just look at a high amount of voucher use as fraud but once they understand it they seem to be ok with.
At the end he said to me, You don't need to leave the store each time. He said now he understands why im buying a few bottles of archers for £10 and using a voucher for £9.56 which I pay 44p to.
I break no rules, If the person that I give the vouchers to want to check with a manager or anything that is completely fine. If I store wants to make up a rule to protect themselves that's fine. I may challenge that with customer services. I do not adhere to ANY part of the T&C on the voucher, Tesco customer services has told me that is a ASDA rule. I have a logged call with Tesco about this and they told me this. I do however show them the receipt if they request this. But I will not allow them to deface the receipt. If they try to do this I point them to another logged call that says that at NO POINT should they mark it.
I don't blame the stores, its the stupid people at the top that don't work in the stores and make up a promotion that people will take full advantage off. If you use a voucher for £5 or a voucher for £9 if you do £10 a day or £1000 a day. its the same. Posting a picture of a glitch when you buy 10 bottles of lynx or a PS4 its the same.
You might not agree with me but don't everyone have the right to post? As long as your not breaking the law. Just like the T&C it clearly states on the brand match that this voucher can ONLY be used in a Sainsbury store. But Tesco's are allowing you to use it in a Tesco store. Tesco should lead by example and they don't.
Now time to relax with my archers and lemonade.

Actually did hear somewhere if you were going to have cows milk then best go for full fat over semi and skimmed. The fat in it helps satiety - the absence of hunger; it is the sensation of feeling full . Anything that says low fat or 0% fat - think chemical !!!! stormAvoid. I no longer have muller lust or my recent favourite Danios.
Ive been reading a fair bit about this over the last couple of months, lots of articles and programmes about it...the theory is you need to eat fat to lose fat with animal fats being the best, also lot of good stuff about coconut oil which I have started using over olive oil!!:DIt's a soap opera set in Walford
there is often more drama on here than EE, I know a couple of regulars that wouldn't look out of place on Albert Square!!:cool:Has anyone else had all of the small birds return to their gardens in the last few days - we have huge families of sparrows, long tailed and short tailed tits etc arrive and they queueing up to feed on the seeds and bread on the bird table - we have a huge matted clematis growing through the elderberry and apple tree on the fence line and they live in there - wondering if they are nesting again.
We have also put a huge fat ball tube out for them but not much interest yet.
I wonder where they go all summer.
I saw a Robin when I was out today! hadn't really thought about it but Mrs said it was a unusual time of year to see one?"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

We had a Robin in our garden earlier too so some birds are back or haven't gone far.
